BURAK has a structure that not only adds value to the projects but also creates projects.  The preparation of the project, execution of the jobs described in the project plan, analyzation of the results and regulation of the corrections, preparation of the reports requested by customers about Standard production procedures are all led by this team.  Research & Development team always aims to convert the results they find to the use of science that can be used in production technology.

Our aim in Turkish extrusion industry is to make knowledge applicable in production.

BURAK is an extrusion company. It is important to know the materials micro structures reflection to the end product.  Research and Development operations aim to influence production processes and to optimize the mechanical and surface structure of the end product.

A project has started which is held in cooperation with TÜBİTAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) about production of extruded products form advanced alloys of 6061, 6082, 5083 and 7075.

What does this mean?

5083 and 7075 alloys are chemically differs from Al-Mg-Si based soft alloys of 6060 and 6063.  This composition requires different extrusion properties.  This kind of alloys could not be extruded in our country as a result of technical inabilities. 

BURAK will make its own process as a result of these researches on hard alloys and once it achieves its goal it will be a huge lap for the next generations of Turkish Extrusion Industry. 

Production is a systematic process,  and standardization of the production quality, finding new products and customers must be a work of a team.
